There were hidden places no mortal could discover-not on their own at least. There was also beings that withheld a power so strong, the mortals considered them mythical.
But we were not.
Our ancestors decided it was time to unveil our identities. Fore they believed we were superior-that no one could stand against us, in our attempts to rule the world.
Witches, wolves, spirits, vampires, goblins-Everything you feared as a child, waged a war.
Kingdoms were formed, alliances began, and enemies were targeted.
However, there is one kingdom that stands stronger than the rest, a kingdom that grew every day, a kingdom you would never wish to cross paths with, a kingdom ruled by a man every woman wanted, and every man dreamt to be.

She is also something more which is discovered as she grows up but she must keep it hidden to protect herself. As she masters her skills, she, along with her friends, are given the opportunity to leave and earn her freedom. It's the first step in finding herself and her answers and perhaps it could change her life in ways she couldn't imagine when she was taking everyone's orders in the kitchen.
