The night was cold, freezing, even. The wind blew through the crisp winter air. Snow was soon to come. I glanced at the puddle in front of me, a ripple of moon reflected. Full moon. Not yet midnight, I stood up from my lonely spot on the pavement. The street lamps guided an unrecognisable way, I just followed. Why should I care about where I was going? All is lost, and nothing changes that. Not even me. And I'm a monster.

Chase Has only one mission - stay alive. He has no one to help him, no home, no food no water.  He tries his best to stay alive but with other creatures of the night crawling the forest, I doubt it's a piece of cake. But when he meets drop-dead gorgeous Veronica... Well, we'll have to see what happens...

I struggled and managed to push the person off and started sprinting down the street, yelling 'HELP'. I turned back to get a glance at the man who attacked me. I saw his face and it was Der!!! "What the hell Derek!"I shouted " I was scared shit-less that it was a kidnapper or murderer or gang member" It was NYC, who knew what happens at night and what kind of dangerous people are out there. "Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. "Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand. "I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything.
