Lise is an average 16 year old girl who sees herself as a conformist. As she enters sophomore year a transfer student joins her class. He's different from everyone else and brings mystery and thoughts and new feelings that Lise has never experienced. His name was Lion. All the boys made fun of his name but all the girls were attracted to him. Lise just thought that she had no chance with him and that he would probably choose Aspen as his girlfriend. One day Lise's average schedule changed as she finds out that she was chosen to help the government negotiate with the species of wumbers who for years could help humans find the cure to all the diseases a long with many others. When Lise decides to help the government she sees Lion who was also chosen to help. Lise does not know that Lion knows more about her then she thinks . Lion is surrounded by an aura of mystery that makes Lise find out that Lion has a deeper secret that no one knows about.
