 worked for SHIELD for about 5 years. You always went on missions and helped out in Stark Tower. Always helping others in SHIELD.

You aren't just any regular agent. You can read minds, control gravity, and also shape shifter.

You knew about SHIELD experimenting with the Tesseract. Recently you heard that the Avengers Initiative was going into use and you were going to be in the so called group of Avengers.
