"Yes. Anything." He said and then stopped aburptly.'You know you can trust me' hung in the air around us.
I looked away from his eyes, "Why do you want to know?"
He stilled. He knew what I meant when I asked that question. He knew the risks. He knew it would be all over if he got the wrong sentence out of his mouth.
