Meet Bethany Watson. Bethany grew up in a small town of Pearl Beach, FL. She's a 16 year old teenager with hazel eyes and beautiful golden-brown hair. She's a very shy girl who barely talks to strangers but when it comes to family and her best friend, she legit screams in their ears and won't stop talking. All she needs is a surfboard and the beach to be happy. Her life is perfect. She has two awesome and amazing parents, a protective 17 year old brother, a best friend and she's doing great in school. She and her B.F.F. has a summer job at P.B. Summer Surfing School. She's been working there sine gr.9. She knows that her summer this year, is going to be perfect.
Meet Drew Hunter. Drew was a very popular guy back in Vancouver. I would define Drew as hot. Like really really hot. But he's not a player at all, in fact he has never had a official relationship with anyone. Drew just came from Vancouver, BC to Pearl Beach, FL to visit his aunt and her baby. He doesn't know anyone in Pearl Beach expect those two. He has found a summer job and a place to stay but Drew still thinks that his summer will not turn out good.

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
