Sequel of Project: Phantasma

Dexter Quijaro has the title "Lateral" as a transfer student in Dewpoint Science Highschool, the same school where the protagonist in the first story(Project: Phantasma) named Gabriel Sherwood studied. But why does everyone change when the name is said? Who is that little girl following him? Why does his roomate on the opposite top bunk sleep while sitting?

With the whole school keeping secrets from him, he begins to doubt why they are not allowed out of campus, and why the barbed fence is pointing inside. They're not keeping anything from entering. They must be keeping anything from leaving.
