Two Girls. One is the illegitimate daughter of an aristocrat and a commoner. The other thought she was born into her prestigious family. Each of them attends Ouran Academy, a school well-known for it's many aristocratic families involved in its operation. Misaki and Yukiko know of the host club, in the way that the exclusive class of the elite all know each other. But when a commoner by the name of Haruhi Fujioka arrives and breaks a vase that was to be the main piece at an auction, they end up assisting Haruhi in paying off her debt by becoming hostesses, faster than you can say "Kiss, kiss, fall in love."

Told from both Yukiko and Misaki's perspectives comes a story of love, envy, and of course, the silliness of the host club we all know and love.
