Connie and Dick They were childhood friends, and were going to ride it out all the way to the end. Except her parents died, and she became an orphan. And her adoptive parents sold her to an experimenting group for a load of money. She was twelve when they first stuck a needle in her arm, now she's nineteen and she's going to escape. Connie has waited seven years for her opportunity to strike, and when she does emerge from the ashes of the hidden lab, she has no clue what to do. Her family is gone, and she has no one. Except Dick, who now goes by Nightwing and has a new family. But they changed her in there. She's got purple veins, when she's angry purple energy swarms around her. And they even changed her name, they call her Fuchsia.

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.

Seven teenagers are kidnapped to be experimented on. They develop powers and are forced to go to school, with others like them, to prepare. Prepare for a war. They will have to fight teenagers just like them, but these teenagers have been brainwashed into their robotic-like forms. These seven will struggle with love, heartbreak, death, and life. They will save their abnormal school, that is starting to feel more like home than they ever thought it would.

Genetic enhancement is rampant in the society that Nyx lives in, and everybody is obsessed with superficiality. She is Enhanced, but she never chose this life. Now that Nyx is pregnant, her husband wants her daughter to become Enhanced. Nyx is desperate to do anything, even risk her life, to prevent this from happening. She takes this chance to escape her society and make their own life on the Outside where they should be safe. Nyx is soon about to learn that the dangers on the Outside may be worse than those in the world she wanted to escape. *This is mainly unedited and am currently working on a new version of this story*

January 1, 2015. The day that the world changed forever. Following the aftermath of a deadly nuclear war between the United States and China, an odd airborne pathogen is discovered. Scientist scramble to uncover what this virus does and find that it is a virus like no other. Once the virus starts to attack your body, you have exactly one year to live. A cure can't be found and the virus is spreading like wildfire. People are still recuperating from the nuclear war and find that there is nothing they can do to stop the virus. I was diagnosed with having the virus on January 1, 2015. My birthday was on the first and so I had just turned eighteen. What a birthday present, getting such a deadly disease, or could it somehow turn into a good thing? One year to live. I had the virus.
