Hale was a sixteen year old living on her own in the woods outside of where the Air Nomads used to be. When she was ten she ran from her home of the earth kingdom seeking adventure. Already mastering earth bending, she would teach herself Air bending from the monks in the Air temple when they taught classes. She mastered it at twelve and then picked up lightning bending. Although she couldn't be taught by a teacher, she focused her own spirit and was able to master it at the age of fifteen. She is known as the "White Assassin" because she takes the lives of evil people who take from the innocent, and does it in all white clothing. However, when she's out on the job and meets the last known air bender, how will she react? -- I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender, I only own Hale and her role in the story. *Warning* Mild Language! I am only using the characters, setting and events from the show. I am mix matching it to make it my own in a way but not plagiarizing it. For example, the air nomads were wiped out hundreds of years before the discovery of the avatar in the show (if I'm wrong I apologize I haven't seen the show in quite a while). I'm placing the plot where Hale learned from them for years and then they were wiped out. Without changing a lot, I moved the avatar's awakening to earlier which is how and why Aang and Hale actually meet. I'm sorry if this is confusing for some people but I felt like I had to explain. Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***

The story is about a survivor of an orc invasion, Déorhild, who comes to Eodoras to seek help from King Théoden. However, due to her strange story and backround, no one really trusts her except for Éowyn and Éomer. Also, no one is really close to her because of her forbidding personality which is a result of her childhood. But unknown to everyone else, (except those that have their suspicions) Déorhild is not who she seems. Trying to keep her true identity hidden from prying eyes, Déorhild is very secretive. Éowyn still holds herself somewhat distant, but Éomer seeks a closer relationship with Déorhild, who for awhile, turns him coldly down. When Déorhild finally realizes that she loves Éomer, it is too late, for Éomer has along with the Rohirrim been exiled from Eodoras. So Déorhild embarks on a mission, to not only revenge those of her village who died, but to find Éomer and tell him of her true feelings for him before it's too late and he's dead. Yet both Éomer and Déorhild are caught up in a event which is greater than any of them have imagined, a war in which lies the fate of all Middle Earth. Can Déorhild find Éomer and tell him who she really is and what her feelings are for him before it's too late, or will they both perish in the War of the Ring? --First fanfiction and first story on Wattpad-- HIGHLY UNEDITED Beautiful cover is by @TheRegularRavenclaw CHECK OUT HER GRAPHICS!
