Addison Shaffer, 17 year old witch is back in Mystic Falls after being away for the first part of her junior year. She gets dragged back to her old town after she hears of her best friend, Caroline in the hospital. Now, having to stay in town to protect Elena, she soon learns things about her family and herself that could change the way she looks at life. Discovering her life has more to do with New Orleans, her old home, Addison starts trying to connect dots between her old life and her new. And she's not to sure if she's gonna like her findings.
