Lucy Heartfilia comes from a generation of riches and glory. But she can no longer handle her father's abuse and blame for her mother's death, so she leaves to have a new start in her life. She ends up with a man who takes her to a guild called Fairytail. Lucy makes an undeniable and unbreakable bond with a boy named Natsu Dragneel, who is her best friend and would do anything for her. 3years later, a war breaks out (zerefs war) and a dark mage is going to destroy the world. What will the guild do? The man is immortal, and he is made up of darkness, and pain. They can't beat him. But, the only thing that beats darkness...is light. He will be the light to defeat the dark mage Zereff? And if so...the power comes with a sacrifice... A very deadly one.
