Emma blushed and looked at her shoes. "That doesn't mean anything happens," she looked at Maggie sternly. "Besides, he's four years older than me!" Maggie tried not to smile, but failed, and the corners of her mouth tugged upwards slightly. She rolled her eyes and gave Emma a pointed look. "You're twelve. He's 16." She paused and lifted her eyebrows. "I was only in sixth grade when Kaden was a senior. Now we're engaged. Your point?" Emma smiled and rolled her eyes. "Carters my best friend. I've never really thought of him that way before though. I bet he hasn't either." Maggie laughed. "Oh, I bet he has." With that, Maggie turned on her heel, and walked towards the door. Without looking over her shoulder, she said, "You won't be saying that when you two are married." Emma blushed for what seemed like the 100th time that day, and smiled. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| This is the story about two best friends, who would do anything for each other.
