Fairies can't ever hurt you, because they're fairies

Helena Hallows, daughter of the Full Moon Alpha, isn't really his daughter at all. His mate, an extremely beautiful vampire, had her with a different man, a dark fairy. She had met him when she stormed out of the house, and seduced her. And so, Helena was conceived. Though, nobody knew until she was 12 when she went through a change. All dark fairies went through this change, whether they were halfies or not.
Though, the mark that appeared on her hip when she changed was the crest of the royal family of dark fairies, the Bloodwood's. Their crest was a beautiful naked tree, covered in blood, and that's exactly what appeared on Helena's hip when she turned 12, she had been claimed by her father.
