The gods and goddesses of Egypt. Anubis, Bastet. Sekhmet, Thoth. Sobek. Ra, Horus. All the characters you love. Brought together into a book. It's not nonfiction anymore. Anubis, the guardian of the afterlife, is having a hard time coping with his fellow guardians, even though they are supposed to be his friends. But when a lethal plague of evil attacks the world above the safety of the cave, he'll have to work together with his friends again. And maybe even work against some. Can they save Egypt? No place for peace
Year 1400 BC. One day at the marketplace changes everything for Nefer-ra, the young and beautiful daughter of a craftsman. Before she even realizes what has happened, she has already signed the contract to become the first wife of the Pharaoh's son and moved to live in the royal harem. At first everything seems almost too good to be true, but Nefer-ra soon realizes there is more to the order of things at the palace than at first catches the eye and she has to face the fact that her fairytale may not be that happy after all. Year 1391 BC. Unlike the other wives in Pharaoh Atekhramun's harem, Ra-nef-ankh doesn't want love or adoration from the Pharaoh. She wants revenge. In order to get her plan to work, she needs to get close enough to the Pharaoh but how can she do that when his grief makes him push people away. And how do you get time alone with the Pharaoh in a harem where everyone is fighting for his attention? Journey Across the Nile
Septunis is your ordinary village in Lower Egypt. Best friends Nena and Zalika live there, and life is going on just fine. Until Nena discovers that she is a godling and can host the power of a god. Which is bad news, as magic is illegal. On top of that, she also discovers that she is the only one who can restore the balance between Maat and Isfet. This means that she and Zalika travel to the oldest pyramid, and try to do just that. NOTE: This is a first draft, and a short(ish) story. It is not by any means perfect.
