Set in a near future where humans can socialize and roam virtual locals through the internet, connecting their brains to a specialized monitor. Democracy is reaching its end, and the country looks braced for a communistic government, despite riots from radicals. Sage is an old man, living in a apartment complex surrounded by derelict buildings and halted industrialization. He does not approve of society, or people in general, and tries to create his own ways of enjoying the world. HIs own son is a computer and internet modem programmer who develops new locals for the new world.
