17 years ago, humanity was attacked by the Demons - aliens with symbiotic Weapons that outmatched anything the human race had to offer. Now, humanity is barely surviving in the outpost of Eden, using the Demons own Weapons to defend against them. Scientists had engineered a biological robotic creatures to help eat trash. Consequently, the creatures evolved and began to eat the flesh of animals, including humans. All in all, when 17 year old Ash gets swept out in a flash flood, he learned the secrets of the past, why the creatures eat flesh, and why the Isolates are sent out among the trash. Finally, Ash manages to get back to the Refuge. He tries to convince people to believe what he saw, but will they believe him? (Apologies...this is old and bad but it's necessary for (REDACTED; will let you know when publishing) and I don't have the time or energy for a rewrite.) It wasn't too long ago that a snowfall happened in Nathan's (fictional)hometown in Montana. And a rather large one at that. It caused school to be cancelled, but it still left room for learning from home. However, there was something different about this snowstorm. People and friends of Nathan began to go missing, and once returned, they had turned into horrible monsters forcing every last remaining uninflected human to band together and fight for survival and to uncover the mystery of the snowstorm and the monsters in its wake.
