Avyanna Slay arrives at the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning, thinking that she will easily fit in. But she quickly realizes that she can't. After accidentally using her fatal powers, she attracts the attention of an ancient cosmic entity, the Phoenix Force, who wants to take over Avyanna, and use her as a host to transmit it's vast power. She takes on the challenge, but will she control the force, or let it control her?

We know you have powers; we can sense them on you. We can do this because we have powers too. We call it magic. Lead character is Jean Grey throughout the series. There will be 8 chapters in this book. Warning: there is violence, strong language Three years ago the X-Men lost one of their own. She sacfaced herself to save them and the universe from their greatest threat ever. The Dark Phoenix. Now the Phoenix wants to awaken Its true host Jean Grey. Then there are others who want to use the power of the Phoenix for themselves. Will the X-Men be able to save the day or will the Dark Phoenix rise from the ashes?
