Wolves live in natural packs many of them have tiny bits of human DNA in them that has slowly dwindled to a speck.
These wolves have collars for tracking that soon with go to micro chips. The tracking is to get the population count. As soon as a pup is born and is known of by the humans they come to collar it.
Wolves dwindle in areas through out the world. They are now constantly taking a female and the male of a same pack and making them mate to make more pups in other parts of the world.
It's rare for two wolves of different packs to be chosen for one can be wild and not take a mate from their pack. They will keep the two together in a cage during transport and a small inclosed space to fight it out.
Two are taken to someplace unknown to themselves as they try to fight out the mating and submission.

11:59 pm "5" "4" "3" They chanted counting down to the moment Ares will meet his mate. "2" "1" Sparks erupted in my heart making me gasp and fall onto my knees in shock of the unfamiliar feeling. Being in my family is hard. Sticking up to their standards; considering they are the alphas of the entire pack. Yes, you heard me right, a pack. A pack of what you may ask? Well, we're wolves. Two Faces, One Wolf....
Life was so simple. So much more carefree and just generally free to do as you please and not have to worry about every little thing. Key word being 'was'. The second you receive your wolf you know your in trouble. It's when the rolling hills and valleys turn into mountains and canyons taunting you to enter. But you can help it cause to get to the other side and pass the finish line you gotta climb those mountains and fall deep into the canyons. But of course teenagers even like obstacles especially when they are still tying to fun themselves. Some may be more outspoken then others and some may be the the tiniest bit too mature but they have to learn one way or another. But what happens when a pack of wolves flirting at first start being the bigger picture and that being this free wasn't going to last forever. Feelings come and go just like people but the day you turn of age that also changes. Mates is a hard word to swallow and acceptance becomes a challenge but not as challenging as sticking together as things are thrown their way, distractions are made and a few too many lies but too deep. Heart of the Wolf

The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing.
