War.
Blood.
Screams.
Death.
Orders.
Fighting.
This is what my life has consisted of. I was born to be a warrior I never had a choice. Whatever the alpha told me I had to do, I never complained I was accustomed to it all; from a battlefield, to torture sessions, to dead bodies. It was all a part of my daily life and what I was trained to do...to take on my father's responsibilities as the pack's beta. No one asked or expected anything else of me.... So I was the perfect warrior with no emotions, an intelligent brain, a lot of self control, and good at following alpha's orders and giving other pack members orders. My only flaw was.... I was born a female and not the son my father always wanted to pass down the beta title.
My name is Rowan Ansgar.

Rowan's world is about to be knocked down out of her feet and she is going to have to deal with things that she doesn't understand. She will have to prove herself as the future beta of the Blood Knife pack. Then to deal with a war that will throw off the balance of everything. But the question is can she do it?

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
