Walter Sunshine was born with an unusual affliction. When he looks at people he does not see what you and I would see. He sees much more. He sees all sorts of animals in every day human faces. He sees varieties of birds, dogs, mice and even the occasional hairy nose wombat.
Life starts to unravel after he falls in love with a young Raven and in his attempts to reach her he is fired from his job.
Through a dramatic turn of events he discovers that the affliction can also be seen as a gift and he sets about to turn his life around.
