A very select few actually had The Mark. The ones who did were supposed to be the ones with the incredible jobs. Not just saving the world from the wrong-doers, but to report back to the Universe Council. That's right, The Universe Council. Earth is only allotted a certain amount of weapons. All of these weapons are dependent solely on the ones who have The Mark. They were in charge of building an army of heroes. Once a year, on April 18th, the A.O.V. would send down an army of their own. However; this army wouldn't be based on heroes. It was based on villains. Villains, that had greater power and were much more terrifying than any villain any one could ever experience. They were aliens to us, but to them, we were the aliens. We were the ones with the ugly faces and disturbing features. So what happens when Maddix Jackson, the kid that who's future was pre-determined to fail, finds himself in a situation of being one out of eleven people with The Mark?

It was the year 2055 and the few remaining people on Earth were still fighting to re-take back the planet from the Undead. The monsters who brought back these beings from the dead were Angels. There reasons for this massacre, that's lasted for decades, was to punish the humans for all the wrong they've done. Killing each others, polluting the Earth, all the violence in the world. There was no end to it all, none. The Angels were sent in to punish us by the Almighty Man himself. No and's, if's or but's about it. He sent them down right after World War III in 2015 was coming to a close. The Humans never saw it coming, though they were warned plenty of times. But of course we never payed attention or ever thought of them as warnings for the worse, just a reason to cause more violence and destruction of the World. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete

The government took over completely but was quickly overrun by robots that they had created to enforce the newly created laws. As the robots continued to make more of themselves and become powerful, kids were mainly targeted as they were seen as bad to the mechanical monstrosity that was ruining the city. A teenager tried to keep most of the kids safe and hid them well, making sure they were safe with mothers and fathers who had already suffered losses of their own children being taken and enslaved. At the start of the government taking over, a group of people was forced out of the city due to their ignorance, according to the government that is. It became a comforting story to the scared kids that they'll come back and save them, told by the teenager who risks his life to save them. One day, the teenager that was saving the kids suddenly goes missing after a night.Complete
