He spared her life because he felt that he shouldn't kill her, only time will tell if he had made the right choice. (I don't own The Force Awakens... or Kylo ((wish I did)), just the plot... the character, Hope, also does not belong to me. She and her personality belongs to Snowdreamer.) I went to the cinema during the Christmas holidays, to see 'The Last Jedi', and I just fell in love with the bond between Rey and Kylo Ren. So I've started writing about it, and I thought "I'm gonna share it on wattpad!" So here I am, writing a fanfiction. The story starts when Rey is still trained by Luke Skywalker. The first four chapters are kind of like a 'prologue', to tell you the situation, and make you familiar with the characters. I've followed the story as it was in the film, and from the fifth chapter onwards, it's all invented. Enjoy reading it! And of course don't forget to like and comment (it means a lot!).
