Overin has lived alone in Minecraft for a long time... He stopped counting the years since it made him feel empty and cold. Life has become one big joke. His house keeps getting blown up, and his items keep getting stolen. Sometimes, the ground breaks underneath him! He's tired of it, until he finds an abandoned NPC village. Abandoned since his spawn, to be exact. After going through the houses to find useful items, he discovers a map. It's blank, but soon he realizes it isn't just any map...

They needed the Over Map, because Overin didn't know how to control it. He didn't know how much the world was changing, and how deadly this could get. He didn't know how unstable the worlds were becoming.

For one to inhabit oddities that are truly beyond normalcy, the town has been surprisingly peaceful for many centuries. He couldn't protect it because he was battling the mystical Ender Dragon with his wife. Sadly, there were no survivors in the attack, and Notch and his wife got eaten by the dragon. But two people found a child buried in ashes of his kingdom. They took him to Nexus.
