Vince Henney was the typical jock. The starting running back. He got all the glory & girls, got everything he wanted which pissed me the fck off.

I, Bethany Ryder is his worst nightmare.
We're family friends, so everyone expects us to be nice to each other, but that was only in front of them right? Literally our family was so close we lived next door to each other. I just never really acknowledged him until the last year of high school.

You might think this is a cliche story, but can you really judge a book by it's cover? Will Vince and Bethany ever get along? Will family, school, girls and love triangles get in the way of so called "soulmates"?

Honestly, my summary sucks, but give my book a try because I honestly don't know how this story will end as a writer I want to surprise myself and my reader.

This story was initially written between 2007 - 2008, but been searching for a way of distributing to others. I looked at different publishers to get it published as a book, but no success. Even tried Blurb, which was initially promising. Then a good friend directed me here. It has been written in an American dialect, but I am aware that the concept may not reflect it. But I hope my new readers will enjoy this story as much as my few old ones :) This story is also dedicated to my friend Sarah Hammon who gave me a topic on "What if?" So the characters may temporarily have a different personality, which I hope does not change your mind about the characters :) Happy Reading!! S. T. Haque P.s. Sentences that are in Italic form are the Points Of View (POV) of a character. This story has POVs of two characters. At the top of each chapter, it will tell you which character the POV is in the chapter. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prepare yourself for the story of twists and turns! And discover the characters like you have never seen them before! After two years of being together, Sharni Hendry and Vince Carr finally feel that they are now ready to move on the next level in their relationship. *Warning: Description may be terrible, but the story will not! It's not easy writing a description without giving too much away, so sorry if it's bad. Also I'm going to add some twist in the story so it wouldn't be too cliche so if the first few chapters may seem cliché, then trust me in saying that the rest is not! Enjoy the description anyways* Meet Chelsey Rae. She is the type of girl that is beautiful and doesn't know it, nice but doesn't show it, sometimes shy and has an attitude, but she's also kind and caring with a little bit of sarcasm sprinkled on top. Now meet William Gray. The school's man-whore and bad ass. He could be mean and embarrassing at times, but he's popular, handsome, and girls would throw themselves at him. After all, that's why the girls love him. One day these opposites finally speak to eachother, but it doesn't end there. Things start to go wrong and life starts to get harder for both these opposites as they find out what's right. Will their hatred or friendship get in the way of their blinded sight of romance, or will they have to put those feelings aside to make room for new ones? Well read to find out by clicking that start reading button, loves! (((Sorry for the cliché-ness of this description, but the story won't be as cliché))) Soon I will write ''One Thousand Kisses,'' which comes out after ''Is It Meant To Be'' and another surprise book I got for you readers based on this book. Don't forget to vote, comment, and follow. Also, if you don't like curses, or you just hate it so much you cringe every time you read them, this book isn't for you!!!!! Note: *I'm sorry about the small compensational errors, but I'll be working on them now that I completed the story, though if you are disgusted by it so much (even it being very small) and can't stand them, then click away now--Lovely_girl_writer

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
