Fascinated by the concept of genres and personal preference in music, he is astounded when Amelia Gardener, his new classmate in on a sport scholarship, befriends him and confesses she doesn't like music. Having never met anyone like her before, he is determined to find a genre she loves, despite the inner conflicts that present themselves as a result.
