Imagine a perfectly imperfect world where everything is just as it appears. It's obviously not perfect but there is a sense of normality to it that is comforting. A year and a half ago you lost your father which was more like a best friend than a parent. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately, a year later your mother finds your stepfather and they get married. You have two loyal friends that are your ride or die that you do virtually everything with. You also have a boyfriend who is way out of your league but out of some miracle decided to date you. Now imagine everything changes and suddenly your shoved into a world of deception, lies, and unspeakable evil. Every day leaves you wondering if your going to make it to tomorrow. This is the world our main character, Haley Dobbins, now lives in after three boys walked into her school and her life changed forever. It was clear from the start that there was something different about them, and it wasn't just the fact that they were more attractive than everybody else. It was almost as if their entire presence screamed danger. If only she had listened to her instincts and not gotten involved with them, she could have avoided this. However what she didn't know was that these boys were in fact the spawn of the devil himself and that the moment they walked through those doors their destinies would be forever entertwined whether she liked it or not. They always say that the beautiful ones are the most dangerous. They fool you with their looks and stab you in the back. The things left to wonder about are, will Haley make it out alive? Is she going to embrace her destiny or fight it? Will there be an adventure? And most importantly will she fall in love with one of the three boys or better yet all of them? All these questions can be answered and what better way to do so then through a story. So curl up next to a fire place with a blanket, hot chocolate, and book in hand because things are about to get interesting.

For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. ☁ Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

A dystopian story in which people have unnatural powers Lorelai Walters can't remember much of her past. She's always lived on the streets, she never knew home. Then one day, some soldiers turn up in a shopping center where she's staying for the night. They take her to a place where more teenagers live. It's nothing like a home. There, they have to train, though nobody knows what for. When Lorelai decides not to do what she's being told and take things in her own hands, she doesn't know what awaits her. As she tries to escape the people trying to use her-and many others-for their plans, for the first time, she gets the chance to find out what happened to this destroyed and abandoned world-and maybe also about her past. English isn't my first language, so I'd be happy to receive some criticism and also tips. I'd like to know if my story is interesting, so I know if I should go on and how to improve it :) I know, my writing isn't so good in the beginning, but I think it gets better throughout the story.
