Enraged by Jayce's infuriating words I couldn't hold back from using all my strength to shove against his chest, not that it was very affective . . . Either way I blacked out, being brought back a few short moments later when my back was brutally slammed into the metal lockers behind me. His glowering figure towering over me as he aggressively braced my shoulders against the lockers, an ominous glint in his darkening blue eyes as he glared down at me . . . As noticed, Kat and Jayce aren't the best of friends . . . Rather the opposite. They have never really been able to get along. Arguing with each other was part of their everyday lives, they didn't know how to interact any other way, this becomes a problem when their History teacher assigns a two week long project with them being partners. From then on it could only get worse as they continue to fight . . . Especially when one of them takes their words a little too far . . .

Nick raised an eyebrow, then pointed at her before jerking his head toward the door, a silent command. She hesitated, clearly unsure if he was addressing her. He gave a firm nod to confirm. Without another word, he turned on his heel and strode out, fully expecting her to follow. Sure enough, hurried footsteps echoed behind him as Candice struggled to catch up. Amused, he smirked and lengthened his stride just to make it harder for her. The quiet muttering behind him-probably curses directed at him-only made his grin widen. Then, abruptly, he stopped and spun around. She had no time to react. With a soft gasp, she stumbled right into him, her small frame colliding against his chest. Instinctively, his arms shot out, one securing her waist, the other catching her wrist. For a brief moment, the world stilled. The scent of vanilla and something floral-maybe jasmine-filled his senses, making his grip on her tighten just a fraction. Her hair brushed against his chin, silky and soft, sending a rush of warmth down his spine. His heart pounded unexpectedly, each beat echoing in his ears. Candice's eyes fluttered shut, her lashes trembling as though bracing for a fall that never came. She looked... vulnerable. Almost fragile, like a porcelain doll. A sudden warmth spread through Nick's chest, an unfamiliar feeling he wasn't ready to acknowledge. When she finally opened her eyes, her gaze met his, wide with shock. The magnetic pull between them was undeniable, a charge that neither seemed able to break. Her soft breath fanned across his skin, sending an unexpected shiver down his spine. For the first time in a long while, his heart skipped a beat.

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. *under construction, recent name change (Jenna and Lib is the same person)* '"Hollie, when I first saw you, I thought of you as a rabbit. A quiet aspect of nature that eats grass," Jayce says, "You see a rabbit all the damn time because they're everywhere. But whenever you see one, you can't help but say 'bunny!' because it's even adorable when they try to be threatening." "It's Lee," I answer, and turn to go find Jenna.' Hollie intends to keep her senior year of highschool as lowkey as possible. She decides that she'll avoid all unnecessary drama and work hard on her grades--afterall, she needs to get into a good college. Her plan is disturbed by the private school transfer student who goes by Jayce. Jayce was expelled from his private school after getting caught smoking weed in the bathroom. This is the exact opposite type of energy that Hollie needs in her life. But maybe she can make an exception. 'I move a little so I don't get hit by a mass of anger and all things bad and evil that comes to a physical shape called Jayce. Markus has stood up by now, glaring at him, though he has a little fear in his eye. I feel that this is how everyone feels when they look at Jayce--angry, but afraid.'
