I'll Cry Instead
There was the mob, all reaching and grabbing at something on the ground. Several of them were screaming bloody murder (due to the excitement of the fallen Beatle or because they were being pushed and shoved was unknown). "Paul McCartney! It's him!" they shrieked in utter amazement as they ripped at his hair and his clothes.... The year is 1964, and The Beatles have made it big...maybe a little too big, for, everywhere they go, they're ambushed by fan girls. Usually, the lads from Liverpool are quicker than the crowd, but, one day, the fans happen to grab a hold of none other than The Beatles' bassist, Paul McCartney, effectively beating his body and mind to a pulp. This angst/hurt comfort story tells the tale of Paul McCartney, who has been scarred by the brutality of his attack, and his three friends, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, who are trying their best to help Paul and his paranoid state of mind. Will the three friends help Paul? Or will they only make his situation worse? If so, will Paul go so far as to quit being a Beatle? Read "I'll Cry Instead" to find out! Like many other girls, Anna Ward is hoping to have that 'fairy tale' relationship with a person she loves and cares for, at the age of 20 Anna seems to have found what she was looking for. However, soon she learns the heart breaking truth, as the love of her life is seeing others behind her back. Finding it out, in a not-so-gently way, Anna seeks her salvation in alcohol, not knowing what to do with her life anymore. What she, also, doesn't know is that a certain man, named Paul McCartney, will help her put the pieces of her life back together. But Paul doesn't barge into her life alone. No. Paul's friends, and band mates from The famous Beatles, also, join her rescue and teach her that not everything needs to be perfect and that love can be found in the most unexpected circumstances. Battling with her own feelings, crazed fans and annoying boys, Anna comes to a conclusion, she's in love with a Beatle, and knowing herself, things will go wrong and simple confessions will be much more complicated than they are supposed to be. ~Story is set in 1963, Liverpool~Complete

Though, memories don't fade away so easy. Paul McCartney knew that better than anyone else. Paul notices himself thinking back on old times more often than ever before. Dwelling on the unresolved problems between himself and the others... Well, the problems he has with one person in particular. John Lennon. Paul wants to repair the apparent issues left behind him with his ex-partner... his ex-lover, and it's no secret to anybody in his "new" life. One day, even his wife, Linda, suggests to Paul that he should go and visit the lad in New York City. So? What else is he to do, but... make a surprise trip? 'Cause you know, Darling, I love only you." John Lennon has just found himself moving to a rural town shrouded in thick woods and greenery, forced to leave his childhood friends back at home. He has to quickly adapt to new changes, a new school and new people. All in the midst of financial trouble and losing his own Mother. This place is nearly abandoned, except for a few small shops here and there, very sparse. A complete polar opposite from his life in Liverpool. Everyday, John goes down to a little lake, Penny Lake, just as a way to ease his mind. He notices the same ebony-haired boy with his own group of friends visiting the lake, as well. And really, all John wants to do is to, somehow, get that Paul-boy alone so that the two of them can become... closer. This has proven itself to be a difficult challenge as George, Paul's best mate, is inseparable from Paul. Nearly attached at his hip. Not only that, but other problems arise seemingly out of thin air. Will John be able to talk to the boy and find similar interests between them?
