Wouldn't it be fucking scary if you had a clock that counted down until the moment you die. Like what if it could be altered to like one day it says 70 years left but then you do something and it says 10 minutes left and you're like what the fuck. I fucked up, I fucked up.

We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. There's so many different pieces to a broken clock, but the one that gets taken for granted the most would be the piece that tells time. It's counted every balance of what happened since it was created and when all the pieces fall out it's the most undervalued piece. Do you know how horrifying it is to watch your own clock shatter, day after day. Until every piece is dust? When the frame shatters, and the pieces fall out suddenly. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street.
