Two peculiar girls were born on the exact same day-- though that was one of the few traits they shared.
One girl was the sun, the other, the moon.
Crescent and Oriana each have a necklace to symbolize moon and sun. The girls learn they each posses powers over them, Oriana with light while Crescent with dark.
Despite powers, their lives are crumbling. A younger brother to look after, an abusive and alcoholic dad, and a mother who is totally oblivious.
Will the girls be able to use their powers for good and escape the misery that is their reality, or are they doomed for despair?

In punishment the blood line to follow this union would be cursed and in 1000 years twins will be born to defeat the curse and stop all the people against them.
