The deceit is this: The Hunter has a Lochri daughter. The stable boy has a secret curse. The WitchMaster isn't what he appears.
No one knows how or why the Lochri came into being. Some believe it was the work of gods. Others, many, many others, believe they are spawned from something much darker.
WitchHunters, employed at Hunter's guilds, live their lives in search of these monsters, these unnatural beings who dare to question the order we have kept in place for centuries.
