Derek Strut never had the best life, but he never had the worst one either. His parents weren't wealthy enough to be considered middle class, but they weren't so poor as to be considered lower class either. He had good grades in school and was averagely popular. He seemed like an average kid, until you talked to anyone in the arts hallway.

From teachers to peers, they would all say the same, that he was a prodigy in everything arts related. From playing instruments to drama, but his biggest talent, and the one he loved the most, was visual arts. From sculpting to drawing, from printmaking to painting.

What happens though, when an accident takes away his ability to do all of those things, what happens when he is blinded by darkness.
