Trapped in an abusive relationship, Serena clings to the one place that brings her peace-PIB, short for Poetry Is Beauty. The slam poetry venue becomes her sanctuary, a space where words offer the escape she desperately needs when Calvin's anger turns to violence. One evening, as she seeks refuge among the verses, she meets Michael-a stranger whose presence feels unexpectedly warm and safe. As their conversations unfold, Serena begins to see a glimpse of something she thought she'd lost: hope. But breaking free from her past won't be easy. The one that always appears happy. The person that you'd never guess was suffering every single day. Have you ever questioned what could break a person so badly?
