Emerson Ryan is a freshman at the Lincoln Crest University. She left her home town of Stillwater, Minnesota to achieve her dreams of becoming an architect. Em has never been the quiet type, she knows how to stand up for herself. But, her parents were overprotective and hid her from many things. Living on her own is allowing her to be drawn to discover herself more freely and live life a little. Em has liked to skate in her free time ever since she was a little girl, seeing as she grew up with ice-loving parents. Little did Emerson know, her time at the campus ice rink would impact her entire LCU journey. Finn Bradford comes from a strong lineage of successful hockey players. He's strong headed and tough, but underneath is something...different. It's Finn's junior year at LCU and he's ready to dominate this hockey season. Though coach Bradford is putting a lot of pressure on him this season, he's sure he'll lead his team to the frozen four and come out victorious. It's his first year as captain. He has to look out for the new freshers, as well as the rest of the team, and having a father for a coach doesn't make that any easier for him. But despite that, he's confident. As long has there's no distractions this season, the team is sure to make it to the frozen four. But what will happen when a certain freshman has got him all caught up in her little web? While Emerson is on her journey to discover her own life, it seems as if she'll have to help another person discover what they want for themselves, not what their family wants. It's time for these two to write their own stories on the ice.
