Everything about him screamed danger. Reeked of it. However, it feels somewhat warmer around him. The air seems cleaner, easier to breathe in but at the same time, I'm struggling to catch my breath. It's like someone swaddled me in the softest blanket, but it's full of holes. He's full of holes. And I can't decide if that's a bad thing. **** "You just made a grave mistake." "Gone?" I repeated, barely whispering. My eyes met his-and suddenly I couldn't look away. Hazel and blue. Our eyes locked like magnets. The air between us was still. I couldn't breathe. Couldn't think. I was drowning in that look, lost in a silence louder than words. I felt the heat of his breath on my skin. He leaned closer. "Gone," he said again.
