Derek is a fiend. A soulless, black-hearted disciple of Chaos. He's lived for centuries, slaughtering his way through a life that never seems to end. He's content to pillage until the end of this miserable world- until he's captured by King Michelet, father of Prince Carter the Fair.
A good little lapdog for the King and the church, he actually believes that Derek can be redeemed. One good deed is all he wants, something to prove that Derek isn't the monster the world thinks he is.
Of course, Derek first plan is to trick the prince into believing he's changed before killing the twerp and making off with his money.
But everything changes when the witch returns.

10/4: Upon rereading this, I think I'll rewrite it. OGD's current form is pretty bad, but I have an idea of how I can salvage the story, and salvage it I shall.

I AM THE SECOND MALE LEAD.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE SECOND CHOICE IN A PERSON'S LIFE? I was always the 2nd choice in everyone's life. People always left me for someone, someone who was a bigger jerk than me. I couldn't understand why they left me for assholes such as those bastards. This always happened in my dream. Every single time people left me to be with a toxic guy when I was the better choice. In my dreams, those people who left me were, sometimes a girl and sometimes a guy. Nevertheless I was always abandoned in my dreams while the guy who takes them away glares at me with a smug smile on his face as if screaming "I won." Why was I always the second choice in their lives? I don't understand. What am I lacking? "YOU ARE TOO KIND!" "YOU NEED TO BE ASSERTIVE AND ROUGH ON BED TO WIN." "PEOPLE THESE DAYS LIKE TO BE CONTROLLED AND LEAD ON!!" "YOU NEED TO BE A BIT MORE TOXIC, MANIPULATIVE AND DEMANDING!" "BADBOYS ARE A TREND THESE DAYS!" "JUST BE A BIT MORE OF AN ASSHOLE OR ELSE YOU WILL NOT WIN! YOU HEAR ME?!?" SAID A CERTAIN ANNOYING BUG! "......." WTF! I QUIT!!!Complete
Cursed (mxm)
I was made to serve him. I was made to heed his every beck and call. I was dutiful, obedient, proud of my servitude regardless of what the others thought of me. He was powerful, and he made me powerful, too. It was honorable to be his right hand, to be able to execute his orders to perfection. I thought I had done well in this position. Had anyone asked I would have sworn I exceeded all expectations and fulfilled every request without hesitation or error. I had become an expert in anticipation, of knowing my Master better than I knew myself. So why did he give me away? How could he cast me aside so easily? Was I really so replaceable, so meaningless? He had made me for himself, hadn't he? What other purpose could I possibly have? How was I meant to serve him by serving someone else? -This story has mature themes and depictions of violence, depression, panic attacks, gore, etc. Please read at your own discretion- Highest rankings thanks to all of you wonderful readers! : #2 in "Servitude" #3 in "Servant" #22 in "ManxMan"
Of Shadows and Darkness
Tristan steals shadows to make familiars out of them. It was all completely harmless until he stole the shadow from a demon, effectively stripping away all of their powers. Now Gregor is stranded in a dimension not his own without magic. Tristan agrees to help him get home, the least he could do because it was mostly his fault (and totally not because he has a crush on Gregor, or because of Gregor's compulsion magic or because he kissed him.) But then everything goes wrong when they get attacked by fire elementals who work for the demon Earl Alfred of Aleman who is also after Gregor's magic. The elemental manages to steal the shadow and now Gregor and Tristan must travel through different dimensions to get the shadow back and slip the Earl and his henchmen in the process.Complete
