The Awakening

The line between fantasy and reality has always been a fickle one, particularly for Veronica Moss. In the waking world she is an average teenager, but in her dreams she is a queen. Then her life starts to fall to pieces around her. She moves to a new school, an evil sorcerer curses the land; her mother leaves, her kingdom crumbles, and the boundary between the two grows ever weaker.

It's no wonder that she ended up sitting across from a therapist, no surprise when he tells her that the daydream has to end. Yet there's something she can't tell him. She knows him, but not from this world. He's not the only one. Those people she'd once thought were only fleeting figments of an overactive imagination are right in front of her, and for her there is only one explanation.
