"Shiloh." I held her chin in my hand so she would have to look at me. Shiloh flinched and it reminded me of the first time I had talked to her. Slowly rain began to fall but I could hardly feel their cold bites. She was looking up at me and I was frozen by her dark blue eyes. Her intense stare was holding me in my place. Suddenly a tear rolled down her cheek but she didn't stop looking at me. Something was different about this. I had never seen her look like this. Pleading and desperate but sad at the same time. There was also something else that went along with her gaze. I couldn't place what it was but it wasn't a negative emotion. It was like a small lighthouse in her deep stormy ocean eyes. "Don't go on the date." .... Noah Carter started his Junior year with everything.
