I grew up with possibly the best thing to ever happen to me. But, I left him to finish University. I spent two years of online Uni until I could afford to go to the physical place. At that point, I spent the the last four years of Uni there, in America. I lived in America for five years. I hadn't spoken to him since I was nineteen.
I live with my stepbrother in LA. He is my best friend, as well as a relative. I don't have to watch what I say or do around him, and that's kind of what I left behind when I went to college here in the US.
The US is actually my first home, one I lived in for two months before I moved to Ireland. America has offered me so many things, the people here have as well. It has so many great things, but I miss Ireland. I miss my father and my siblings. When my stepbrother offered to let me tag along on a trip to Ireland, to visit one of his close friend, I couldn't decline.
I kind of wasn't really thinking about who his friend could be though.
