Julia Thistle isn't somebody you could take home to your family. Or your roommate. Or maybe she shouldn't be taken out into public period. Tossed on the streets at the tender age of 6, she spent five more years on the streets fending for herself until three generations of Wiccan women took her under their wing.
At present day, she herself has taken on the role of a Witch and she works at a retrieval company Jumping back in time to steal back potentially dangerous talismans and artifacts. Life is looking pretty great for Thistle until she comes back from a trip in the 1600s and hears that a cunning thief has slipped past a magical vault's defenses and stolen an artifact inside that could crush the world she is now learning to live in.
With nothing going for her but a little spark of magic, a lot of guts, and the disapproving eye of her exasperating boss, Mr. Smoking-Hot himself, she's got everything to lose and, if she plays it right, everything to gain.

Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. She gets a major power boost and needs to come to terms with her new self. To control her new powers and learn to live as a furry. She comes to find out there's more to being a furry than meets the eyes. The people she meets on this new adventure are drawn to her as much as she is to them. She gains more power with each new strain. And with the witch's blood, the ability to heal others and communicate telepathically. She's learning as she goes and figures out a way to help stop her sister's shift and save her sister's unborn child. Furries are so beautiful and come with some yummy energy. She just wants to eat them up. ~*~ The alley that takes me to my car smells disgusting like something had died in it, it was dark, a dim light here and there with noises that sounded like a raccoon was in a garbage can. A fat rat scurried across my path, damn thing scared the sh*t out of me. My heart pounding I looked down watching for the rat as I left the alley and not paying attention to my surroundings. I walked straight into someone. Mumbling my apologies while I step to the left of him. He stepped with me. Excusing myself I tried to move to the right of him, he followed me again. The Green Eyed's Tale - A Changed Story

I've moved into my own projects, I've grown to be more mature, and I've grown out of Changed, in fact, I've sort of taken a slight tint of dislike towards it, I'm still proud of the original book, I won't lie, it was the best I could do in a while, but there's so much better I can write and make. This story helped me create plenty of characters and finetune some already existing character lore I have, in fact, I've been working on an original story for a potential game or animatic utilizing the protagonist of the main book with my refined art skills, it does resemble the original in that it takes place in a facility infested by humanoid-half animal monsters, but that's about it. /// DISCLAIMER END /// Who am I? Who was my family? Where are my friends? Why am I here? This story takes place in an alternate timeline to the Changed video game, but everything remains practically the same. It takes inspiration from Awful Hospital: Seriously the Worst Ever, and combines it with my writing style. This story tries to put aside the transformation fetish aspect of the original game to provide a solid story. Meet our protagonist, you should probably know the drill by now: They awoke at a facility. Weird furry things are trying their best to catch him, but unlike the last person that tried to survive in this facility, he's been lucky enough to have come across several tools to help him out. The story is told through the entries and sketches our protagonist uses to remain calm. This story contains slightly-gratuitous coarse language from our protagonist every so often. Although no sexual content is present in the story, it was built under a furry transformation game, thus it can be slightly uncomfortable to certain groups of people.
