We go through life growing up, making our own decisions, and being unique. We also discover LOVE, something wonderful and adventurous. When you find love you don't know how to handle it, but then remember in fairy tales the prince and princess live happily ever after. So, now you go and think about how you live happily ever after and you think to try and do what other couples do. Don't relive someone else's fairytale, just be yourself and as your love grows you figure out what to do. Be yourself and make your own fairytale with your own Prince Charming that comes in and sweeps you off your feet. It all depends on you and how you choose to live it through and keep it strong. Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale
This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up. As for Prince Charming, he is looking for love, just not in the usual fairy tale fashion. And as usual, there's some extra mischief from the step family, royal family, and fairy godmother.
