How can I explain any of this? I'm not sure. I have a tail, I have ears, and I can't quite remember when or where I got them. All I know is that I woke up on a roof of an apartment building in the middle of New York City. 

My name is Elexice Martin, I'm 15 years old, and I'm the oldest child in my family. I'm in the 11th grade. My best friend is April O'Neil, but she is keeping secrets and always disappearing. 

How can I handle a bestfriend like that and be half cat? Well, its a long story for me to tell.

He knows that it would be easy to leave, to obey his stressed younger brother and allow him to continue his work. In a way, this had been what he'd wanted, hadn't it? But this is wrong. Donnie had left during their argument a few evening before. Left on a horrible note of blame and anger and stress that hadn't faded. His little brother may not have realized it yet, but they needed to remedy this or it was only going to get worse. Leo started this, and now he's going to finish it.

Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? Me: Exactly. The sequel. I'm on it. April: Do you want to give us a little teaser? Me: Well, there's still Leo and his complicated relationship with my heroine.
