Scarlett Johns is part of a group who hacks into government reseach, steals it, the uses it on themselves. When superpowers have been created but kept undercover, obviously Scar and her group find out about them. Each member of the group wants their own ability or power and for Scar its simply having superpowers. Not worried about the consequences she lands herself a job at the research center and waits and watches. After waiting patiently she steals the hard drive with the information and replaces it with a fake hard drive. When she injects herself with the powers, she gains them but bears a grey scar where she injected herself. She wasn't expecting to get caught, and when she does how does she react?
Grayson Woods is a secret service agent that can take on any case with his team. When he gets the alert that the top secret research has been stolen he is determined to find the theif and make them pay. He is used to difficult cases but this theif is smarter than the others and covers their tracks better. Determined to crack the hardest case yet, Gray tracks down the theif. Once he finds Scar he goes looking for her wanting to take her and turn her in. Let's just say Grayson didn't expet falling for the theif. Will he end up following his heart of his brain?
