Living with a complicated and nearly-deranged family is enough trouble as it is, but moving to a whole different state and environment with a hormone driven, cocky, mindless brother and a father who doesn't know how to make boxed Mac N' Cheese or find a job is another story in itself. Jane Gray, a soft-spoken, gentle, and a social outcast, finds herself in this particular situation. Moving involves a new school, a new house, and -possibly- new friends. But her new school is filled with teens that avoid her like the bubonic plague. And her new house was out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mossy trees and the sound of wolves. When she thinks her situation can't get possibly any worse, Jane Gray is plunged into a world she only read about in books. And it definitely wasn't a world with sparkling vampires -much to her displeasure.
