The world was ending, many would argue that it was dying. But that wasn't true, not really. The world was simply being reborn, in a rather unconventional way. Chloe Bradbury finds herself caught in the middle of this 'rebirth.' When the dead start walking, she and her family have to do whatever they can to survive. When they stumble upon another group, things start to look up for them. But then, nothing is ever as good as it seems. Especially in a world where you fight the dead and fear the living. ➵ This story is based during about the middle of season 3. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
