When young and wealthy Mary Jackson learns of her unexpected pregnancy, her first reaction is love for the baby inside of her. But when her mother is informed of her sixteen year old daughter's pregnancy, her only thoughts are of protecting the Jackson family's esteemed reputation. Mary's mother insists that Mary have an abortion to eliminate what she sees as only a problem, but Mary will not hear of it. Mary's love for her unborn child is greater than her love for her current lifestyle and all its perks. She vows to protect her baby at all costs.
