Sheep and Wolf
Gary has a slight problem, he's been transforming into a sheep at night after being bit by one at a petting zoo. He also has a bigger problem, a wolf showing up at night while he's chewing grass at the park. Not the best circumstances to get closer to his crush, the young woman living at the apartment on the other side of the hallway. Orphan Wolf
An elementary aged wolf raised by humans. Everything changes after his first shift. A continuation of "Alpha Lilly". You can read it without reading the first but you'll know the characters better if you read them in order. The next book will be "Raised By Wolves" a werewolf pup adopted by wild wolves so check it out when it becomes available. Story excerpt "I was found bleeding in the road. They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. Abby has no idea what she's getting into when she adopts Henry from the local animal shelter. The dog is crazy smart. And a little creepy with how much he seems to understand. Henry is so confused. An angry growl escaped my throat as my vision blurred. My wolf is taking control, and it's the bad one. She bit at me, growling and slashing, making me weak. I had to take a knee. But a rogue jumped in, taking my neck in its mouth and slamming me to the ground. I screamed as it bit down harder. It yelped. Looking up, Zander was on top, clawing at the rogue. He bit down, again and again, ripping chunks of skin off as loose hairs flew around. Let me out! "Ah!" I cried, "no, not like this!" I gripped the side of the rogues head and squeezed, it whined and loosened it's grip but still held on. Don't cry, Dakoda. Don't. I let out a scream just as my hands concaved the side of its head in until I felt my fingers touch. This is the story of a rare werefox. No she is not a normal girl. Nor, a normal fox. And this is no normal story. Astra, a werefox who is believed by all werewolves and rogues to be extinct, is forced out of her home and family. She is thrown out into the snow to fend for herself.
