To put it mildly, Eleanor Dace is up to her pointy elven ears in shi*e.

In the past few years she's managed to get herself stranded in Middle Earth, joined the Fellowship as its resident healer, and now it turns out she has an amnesia-suffering spirit of creation living inside her head. To make matters worse, the only two people in Arda who claimed to have answers to her bizarre situation, or how it happened are either dead, or bound by an ancient oath to never speak of it.

Meanwhile, as Eleanor struggles to make sense of what little information she's scraped up on her past, things within the sundered Fellowship start to move in an even stranger direction. A decision that saved someone's life ends up having some rather unexpected repercussions - and as Eleanor starts to notice some worrying changes in herself and her abilities that are definitely not of her own doing, an even bigger issue looms:

Is it finally time to come clean about where she really came from? And what she really has living deep in the vaults of her mind.

In the chaos of a brewing war, only one thing is certain for Eleanor anymore. If she can't somehow figure out who she once was, and the reason why she chose to erase her own memories in the first place, she might not survive long enough for the plucky spirit sharing her head to say: 'I told you so.'

The story is about a survivor of an orc invasion, Déorhild, who comes to Eodoras to seek help from King Théoden. However, due to her strange story and backround, no one really trusts her except for Éowyn and Éomer. Also, no one is really close to her because of her forbidding personality which is a result of her childhood. But unknown to everyone else, (except those that have their suspicions) Déorhild is not who she seems. Trying to keep her true identity hidden from prying eyes, Déorhild is very secretive. Éowyn still holds herself somewhat distant, but Éomer seeks a closer relationship with Déorhild, who for awhile, turns him coldly down. When Déorhild finally realizes that she loves Éomer, it is too late, for Éomer has along with the Rohirrim been exiled from Eodoras. So Déorhild embarks on a mission, to not only revenge those of her village who died, but to find Éomer and tell him of her true feelings for him before it's too late and he's dead. Yet both Éomer and Déorhild are caught up in a event which is greater than any of them have imagined, a war in which lies the fate of all Middle Earth. Can Déorhild find Éomer and tell him who she really is and what her feelings are for him before it's too late, or will they both perish in the War of the Ring? --First fanfiction and first story on Wattpad-- HIGHLY UNEDITED Beautiful cover is by @TheRegularRavenclaw CHECK OUT HER GRAPHICS! "One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust..." Boromir addresses the council in a quiet voice "The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly." He ended in a state like manor As I sighed shaking my head at what he said "Have you heard nothing Lord Elrond has said ? The ring must be destroyed" Legolas said "It is true you cannot just walk into the gates of Mordor but you should not be so naive as to think you alone could destroy the ring" I said as Gimli looked towards me "And I suppose you think you're the one to do it ?" Gimli said cockily "And if we fail, what then ? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his ?" Boromir questioned looking towards Gimli as he leaps to his feet "I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" Gimli says looking towards me spitefully. "How dare you speak to me in such a manor dwarf!" I said rage in my voice as the council erupted into a storm of arguments. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli said towards me as I reach for my arrow but a hand grabs my wrist and I feel warm breath on my ear "I wouldn't" Legolas' voice says against my skin as I look at him our faces inches apart. "Fine" I say through gritted teeth as Legolas lets go of my hand softly and stands by my side.
