The Sorceress of Moonlight: A New Dawn in Baldur's Gate
After saving the city and getting rid of the tadpole, Talin, a skilled storm sorceress who was born and grew up in a privilege, comes home to Baldur's Gate, where strict expectations of the city's upper class and the pressure of her noble responsibilities await her. She made strong connections during her journey and found love amidst the chaos. But at home, she and Astarion have to face not only bias against creatures of the night but also the expectations placed upon Talin. As they dig into Astarion's past and search for a cure for his vampiric affliction, they have to figure out how much they're willing to risk for a chance at a life together in a society where going against the norm could be disastrous. Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I've never written anything like this, but I love this game and I love fantasy and RPGs so I wanted to try this out and started writing for myself. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to share it and I hope you'll enjoy it too. Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. Still in progress but I feel inspired and it's a short one. I will probably update frequently I haven't written fanfiction in 11 years.
